What’s the story with the Main Event?
Running 3-16 July, the WSOP Main Event has a $10,000 buy in. The final table is expected to start on Friday, 15 July and end the following day. It’s going to have at least 15 hours of TV coverage to boot.
Are there any new events for WSOP 2022?
Yes, there are a few great ones.
On 2-4 July, there’s the Million Dollar Bounty. With a $1,000 buy in, this tournament plays completely normally on Day 1. Except for the fact that there’s a mystery $1,000,000 bounty on one player’s head! Then on Day 2, everyone gets a bounty.
One that we’re especially looking forward to is the Tournament of Champions freeroll. The final hurrah of the WSOP 2022, it’s taking place on the last few days from 18 until 20 July. It’s free to enter and has a $1,000,000 prize pool. However, the only way of gaining entry is by being a bracelet or gold ring winner! Nice catch, right?
Is the WSOP 2022 on TV?
Yes, at least 18 bracelet events will be televised during WSOP 2022 on CBS Sports.
